We wanted to stay at a cheaper, calmer hostel in Playa because the more expensive ones apparently play loud music until 4AM and they seemed empty. I ran into a girl that I’d met in Colombia working there so I sort of felt obligated to stay. The shower was cold and the pressure was so weak that most of the time, it wasn’t more than a drip from the faucet. They didn’t provide blankets. The bed was creeky.
On a more positive note, the wifi worked and breakfast was included and was a decent size. There was freshly made eggs, toast, fruit, and coffee. And second servings were permitted.
Overall experience: 4 explorgasms (I definitely wouldn’t go back but it was fine)
Fun: 1 fiesta (nothing going on)
Food: 8 feasts (good and free)
